Detection range less than 1/3 of what FLIR claims. Objects within a few hundred feet are clear. The image of objects further away are somewhat blurry with vertical lines. Using the zoom feature results in very blurred and unrecognizable images. Purchased from a marine electronics store for boating use. Upgrade of radar or purchase of a high quality search light would be better investments.
